Do you offer vehicle delivery?
Yes. Autofusion partners deliver to your home, hotel, venue or airport anywhere in the UK, with same-day delivery available in all major cities. You can also collect the car from the partner.
Is there a charge for delivery and collection?
Usually, yes. Most Autofusion partners charge by the mile, about £1.80 a mile on average, with a minimum fee of around £50. Some partners deliver free, or free above a set hire length, and the exact cost is shown before you pay.
What do I need to bring when collecting the car?
Bring your full driving licence, passport, proof of address and a payment card in the main driver's name for the security deposit. The main driver must be there in person.
Can someone else collect the vehicle on my behalf?
No. The main driver named on the Autofusion booking must collect the car or receive the delivery in person, with their licence and ID. The partner won't hand the car to anyone else.
What time can I collect or receive the vehicle?
You choose your pick-up and drop-off times when you search on Autofusion. Your times are checked against each partner's opening hours, so only partners who can hand over and collect the car at those times are shown.
How do returns work?
Return the car at the time and place on your booking, with the same fuel level and reasonably clean. The partner inspects it with a condition report, and your deposit is released within 7 days.
What happens if I return the vehicle late?
Most partners allow a 30-minute grace period. After that you may be charged a premium hourly rate above the daily price, or a full extra day, depending on the partner.
Do I need to return the car with fuel?
Yes. Return the car with the same fuel level it had at handover. If it comes back with less, you pay the cost of the fuel plus a refuelling fee, usually £20 or more depending on the partner.
Can I return the vehicle to a different location?
Yes, if the partner agrees in advance. Call Autofusion on +44 141 899 0009 and we'll arrange a different drop-off location with the partner. There may be an extra charge, usually based on distance.
What happens during vehicle handover?
At handover the partner checks your licence and ID, holds the security deposit on your card, and walks round the car with you to complete a condition report with photos.
Will the vehicle be inspected before handover?
Yes. The partner completes a condition report with photos at handover and again when the car is returned, so any new damage can be fairly identified. Every car is also checked by Autofusion before it's listed.
Can I take photos or videos at handover?
Yes, and we recommend it. Take your own photos or a walk-round video of the car at handover and again at return, alongside the partner's condition report.
What happens if I'm not available at delivery time?
The partner contacts you before the driver sets off to agree a delivery time that suits you. If the main driver isn't there when the car arrives, the partner can charge for waiting time or a missed delivery.
Do you offer out-of-hours delivery or returns?
Yes. Call or WhatsApp Autofusion on +44 141 899 0009 to arrange an early-morning or late-night delivery or return. We confirm it with the partner and make the booking for you, and partners usually don't charge extra as long as it's agreed in advance.
Can I extend my hire at the time of return?
Only if the car is still available, so ask as early as you can rather than on return day. Extensions are arranged through Autofusion and charged at the listing's daily rate, with any longer-hire discount applied.
Are cleaning fees charged?
Only if the car comes back extremely dirty. Return it reasonably clean; you don't need to have it valeted. If it's extremely dirty, the partner can charge a valet fee from your deposit, and heavy dirt can also hide damage at the return check.
