What should I do immediately after an accident?

Where safe and possible, you should collect as much relevant information as possible at the scene.

Should I admit fault or agree to settle privately?

No, you should never admit fault, accept liability, or agree to private settlements without approval from Autofusion or the relevant insurer.

What happens after I report an accident?

Once an accident is reported, Autofusion and the supplying partner will begin reviewing the incident and coordinating the next steps.

Will I have to pay the insurance excess?

An insurance excess may apply where a claim is made during your hire period.

What if the accident was not my fault?

Even if you believe the accident was not your fault, you must still report it immediately and follow the required reporting procedures.

Can I continue driving after an accident?

You should only continue driving if the vehicle is clearly safe, road legal, and approved for continued use.

What happens if I fail to report an accident?

Failing to report an accident or incident is considered a serious breach of the hire agreement.

Will I receive a replacement vehicle after an accident?

Where possible, Autofusion will attempt to arrange a replacement vehicle following an accident.
