How do I make a booking?

You can book a car on Autofusion online in a few minutes: search by location and dates, choose a car, add any extras and pay at checkout. Your booking confirmation arrives by email straight away.

What is the minimum age to hire a car or supercar in the UK?

Most supercars on Autofusion require drivers aged 25 or over with a full licence held for at least 3 years, and some partners require 30. Everyday cars are usually available from 21.

Can I hire a car in the UK with an EU or international driving licence?

Yes. You need a full driving licence, and most Autofusion partners accept EU and international licences. If your licence isn't in English, you'll usually also need an International Driving Permit.

Can I book without a credit check?

Yes. Autofusion does not run credit checks for short-term hire, and you can pay for your booking by credit or debit card.

Can I change the dates or details of my booking?

Yes. Contact Autofusion as soon as possible and we'll ask the partner to change your dates, delivery location, car or extras, subject to availability.

Is there a deposit required to secure a booking?

Most cars need a refundable security deposit, but it usually isn't taken when you book. On Autofusion the deposit is pre-authorised on your card at handover, as a hold rather than a charge. Some partners take it upfront with the booking, and the listing tells you if so.

Can I book a luxury car or supercar at the last minute?

Yes. Every car shown in Autofusion search is available for your exact dates and times, and bookings are confirmed instantly, including same-day and next-day hires.

Can I book a specific vehicle model?

Yes. Every listing on Autofusion is for a specific make and model, and that's the car you'll get. A different model is only supplied if you agree to it.

What happens if my booking is declined?

Autofusion bookings are confirmed at checkout, so a booking only falls through if the driver doesn't meet the partner's rules or the partner can't supply the car.

Can I extend my hire period?

Yes, if the car is available. Ask Autofusion to extend your hire as early as you can, because every car is subject to availability. Extra days are charged at the listing's daily rate, with any longer-hire discount applied.

Do you check driving history or penalty points?

Yes. Autofusion checks every driver's licence through a live DVLA integration, which shows penalty points, endorsements and whether the licence is valid. Most partners accept up to 6 points, with no drink-driving, careless or dangerous driving or other serious offences in the last 5 years.

Can I hire with points on my licence?

Yes. Most cars booked through Autofusion can be hired with up to 6 penalty points, as long as you have no drink-driving, careless or dangerous driving or other serious offences in the last 5 years.

What happens after I make a booking?

Autofusion emails your booking confirmation straight away, with your vehicle summary, the total price including add-ons, and the partner's contact details and address. We also send a reminder 24 hours before your hire.

Do I need to verify my identity?

Yes. Every driver must verify their identity and licence before the car is handed over. Autofusion checks your licence through a live DVLA integration using your DVLA check code, along with your passport and proof of address.

Can I book on behalf of a company?

Yes. Companies can book through Autofusion, and with a corporate account you get monthly billing, credit terms, preferential rates and one invoice for every booking. Every driver still needs to pass the licence and ID checks.

What happens if I don't pass verification checks?

If you don't pass the licence or ID checks, the partner will not release the car. Each Autofusion listing shows the partner's age, licence and document rules before you pay, so if you booked without meeting them you may not be eligible for a refund.

Can I make multiple bookings at once?

Yes. You can book several cars on Autofusion for the same dates, for a wedding, event or business trip. Each car needs a named main driver who passes the licence and ID checks.
