Yes. You need a full driving licence to hire a car through Autofusion, and most of our partners accept EU and international licences as well as UK ones. If your licence isn't in English or doesn't use the Latin alphabet, you'll usually also need an International Driving Permit.
UK licence holders
You'll need your full UK photocard licence and a DVLA check code, which you can get free from GOV.UK. Most supercars need a licence held for at least 3 years. See our guide to supercar licence requirements.
EU and international licence holders
- Bring your full licence, your passport and proof of address
- If your licence isn't in English or uses a non-Latin script, bring an International Driving Permit as well
- Some partners have extra requirements for overseas drivers, which are shown on the listing
How licences are checked
Some partners check your licence online before you pay, and you'll see this step at checkout if it applies. Others check it when you collect the car. Find out more about identity and licence checks.
Check before you book
Every listing shows its licence requirements and partner terms before you book. For age rules, see What is the minimum age to hire a car or supercar in the UK? For everything else you need to bring, see our guide to supercar hire documents.
