Each Autofusion car listing provides the total cost, mileage, deposit, insurance excess, and charging arrangement before the booking process. The charging policy differs depending on the partner providing the car. Some arrangements include a free charge for public charging or superchargers, while others do not. This is always stated before the booking process.

First-time EV driving and pre-purchase testing: Renting a Tesla is the most convenient way of testing an EV before buying it. Both the Model 3 and Model Y can be rented out for just a day to see how it works within the UK context.
Family trips and weekend breaks: The Model Y is perfect for family weekend getaways and long road trips because of its storage capacity and range capabilities. Additionally, the Model Y can fit up to seven people inside, making it one of the most versatile electric hire cars.
Airport transfers and executive travel: The Model S is the best option for executive airport transfers that require a premium interior, impressive range and zero emissions. Tesla chauffeur services are provided by selected Autofusion partners.
Low-emission city driving: All Tesla models are ULEZ compliant. Note that following the end of the Cleaner Vehicle Discount on 25 December 2025, electric vehicles including Teslas are no longer exempt from the London Congestion Charge. Model 3 and Model Y are more readily available among Tesla partners. The Model S and Model X cars are available only via select specialist partners. Please apply the filters to find availability according to your chosen dates.

Most partners will require the driver to be a minimum age of 21. A few may require 25 for the Model S and Model X. This is detailed on each listing.

The Model 3 is the most readily available of all Teslas on a daily rental, followed by Model Y, Model S and Model X which are offered at higher rates. Pricing is provided on each listing together with charging policy, deposit and excess.

Charging policies differ according to the partner and are provided on each listing. In some cases, a credit for public/ Supercharger charging is provided; in others, a fee is charged for the actual usage. Most partners will request that you return the vehicle with a certain level of charge, same as on pick-up.

It is possible to find Tesla superchargers among most hired Teslas, although the fee is generally charged to the hirer as a separate cost. It is important to know the charging policy on your particular listing prior to booking.

There is usually an inclusion of daily or total mileage limit in each listing. Extra mileage will incur charges that will be charged according to the rates provided in the listing. If you expect a long journey, consider looking out for listings with high allowance.

All Tesla cars do not emit any exhaust gases and therefore are not subject to ULEZ charges. However, since the Cleaner Vehicle Discount ended on 25 December 2025, electric vehicles including Teslas are no longer exempt from the London Congestion Charge and must pay it. This is pertinent for those who wish to hire Teslas in and around the London area.

Model 3 hire may be arranged a few days in advance while it would be good to make a Model Y, Model S and Model X hire one or two weeks ahead.
