Yes. You can drive an Autofusion hire car anywhere in England, Scotland and Wales without asking first. Any trip that needs a ferry must be agreed with us before you book.
England, Scotland and Wales
No approval is needed to drive anywhere on mainland Great Britain. Each listing shows its mileage allowance for your hire length, and some partners offer unlimited mileage, so check the allowance before a long trip. Planning one? Read our UK supercar road trip guide.
Ferry trips and travel abroad
Call us on +44 141 899 0009 before you book if your plans include:
- Northern Ireland
- The Channel Islands or the Isle of Man
- The Scottish islands
- Europe
Most partners allow these trips, but they may involve an extra charge or a higher deposit. We'll make sure the insurance and paperwork are in place, including the VE103B certificate needed to take a hire car abroad. See Am I covered for driving abroad?
Where you can't take the car
Off-road driving isn't allowed without written approval, and racing and track days aren't allowed at all. See Can I take the vehicle off-road? and Can I use the vehicle for racing or track days?
