Fine handling process
If a fine or penalty is issued during your hire, it may either be transferred directly into your name or paid initially and recharged to you.
What may happen next
Depending on the authority or issuing body:
- Your details may be shared directly
- The notice may be transferred to you
- Autofusion or the partner may process the charge first
- Administration fees may be added
Important to know
You remain responsible for the underlying fine or penalty even if it is received after the vehicle has been returned.
